Phil Kane was one of the nicest men I had the pleasure to work with at the Beckton sales. He was so kind and supportive and lots of fun and a special friend. My sympathy to his family and friends. Wish I could have given him a hug.

If your children, Katie and Kevin, are anything to go by, you were a great dad, one of God’s most special cowboys, and a testament of character. No doubt there is a new star shining bright in the Wyoming sky now.

When I met Phil for the first time, he and Ranelle made me feel like a long-time friend. Phil was cordial, funny, kind, and willing to go out of his way to make me comfortable. His strength and determination balanced with an open and honest personality is something I admire and carry with me as a model of civility and respect. Phil, I imagine you’re still grinning and maybe chuckling thinking about our adventures thinning the varmints out back. My sincere condolences to the Kane family, my friends Katie and Greg, Ranelle, and all who had the opportunity to know this great man.

Phil put the fear of God into me when I wanted to marry his amazing daughter, Katie. I can attest, he raised two wonderful kids that emulate his values, integrity and empathy. He called me Steve (after the Crocodile Hunter) for two years, but always with that smile. I will miss his acerbic wit, the way he doted on his kids and grandkids and his beer mug emojis! Fair winds and following seas Phil. Greg (Steve)

My heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.
