Lula Grace Reeves went to be with her Lord unexpectedly, March 4, 2024. She was born in Sheridan, October 20, 1934, to John T. & Grace (Kennedy)

Foster. She was 5th in line of the "Five Fabulous Fosters" older siblings, Vera, Helen, Ralph & Keith. The five foster children attended the little

Buffalo Creek School. In 1942 John and Grace bought a seven-acre ranch on Leopard Street and a year later bought 24 acres on Meade Creek where

the three youngest Fosters spent most of their years growing up. One day when the folks were gone, Ralph and Keith put Lula into a gunny sack and

threatened to drown her like an unwanted kitten. They lowered her into the irrigation ditch until she could feel the water. She was terrified because she thought they were really going to drown her! Involved in 4H, winning trips to State Fair in Denver & Chicago. Going to country dances with her brothers and boyfriends, served as State President of FHA and attended the National Convention. Worked as a telephone operator after graduating from SHS in 1953.

In March of 1954, she married George Mitchell, to this union a daughter and son were born, Diana and Randy. They were divorced four years later in June of 1958.

She met Glenn Reeves in May of 1959 and married him six weeks later. They lived in many places, and both worked various jobs raising their blended family of four children, Diana, Randy, Steve & Mike. Settling on a small acreage near Bighorn, Wyoming in 1979. After working various jobs as a skillful seamstress, she opened her own shop, Lu's Fabric, teaching her intricate sewing techniques at her shop and at Sheridan College. In 1997 Lu was reunited with her son Barry Peacock & his wife Vivianne, both very much loved and a beautiful blessing to the family.

Shortly after, tragedy came with the loss of son Steve, devastating the entire family for many years to come. Surviving two bouts of cancer, Lu never lost sight of living life to the fullest and never turned down an invite or adventure. A highlight trip to Alaska and trips to Washington visiting family. After losing the love of her life Glenn, in 2015, she was able to travel with other family members to Mexico and Hawaii.

Keeping her weekdays full up until a week before her departure, she enjoyed church every Sunday, visiting her many cherished friends, quilting, bowling, lunch with seniors, Bighorn Women's Club, Bighorn City Historical Society and Creative Fiber Guild.

Reunited with Ken Elliot (Barry's father) provided friendship and companionship in which the family appreciated deeply.

Preceded in death by her husband Glenn Reeves, her parents John & Grace Foster, son Steven and her four siblings.

Survived by children: Barry & Vivianne Peacock (6 children), Diana & John Barbero, Randy & Julie Reeves, Mike Reeves and stepchildren Ed & (Debbie) Olson and family, Jeanie & (Jay) Kincy and family, Grandchildren: Dori & Casey Phillips, Jona & Wade Armstrong, David & Hayle Barbero, Kallie & Scott Edwards, Riki Reeves/Chris Latozke, Willy Reeves/Jessica Ketcham, Dillon Reeves/Emily Poss, Jason & Katie Reeves, Cory & Michelle Reeves, Kyle & Mandy Allred, Aryia Reeves/Ty LaMeres, 31 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Many special nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life later this spring.
