April Cotton, 46, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at her residence. She was born on April 1, 1969, in Sheridan, WY, to parents George Jerry and Bonnie Jean (Smith) Cotton.April\'s family meant everything to her. She loved horses, wolves and all animals. She enjoyed trips to the mountains, genealogy and crocheting. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and volunteered as a coach for Special Olympics.April was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Jean, son, Kaleb Lee Cotton Hirchert, brother, Leroy Cotton, and grandparents. She is survived by her father, George Jerry, children, Katelynn Jean Hirchert and Connor Edward Hirchert both of Sheridan, siblings, Georgia Jean Cotton, George D. “Sam” (Wyla) Cotton, John Edward Cotton all of Sheridan and numerous nieces and nephews.A Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015, in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Terral Beardon officiating.
