Bernice Judith (Judy) Hamilton, 90, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2014 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Bernice was born on May 1, 1924, in North Dakota to Valborg and Ed Nelson.Judy moved to Minneapolis, MN, after high school graduation to attend business college and upon completion worked as a secretary. She married Byron Hamilton in 1943. During the 52 years of their marriage they lived in Minnesota, California, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Iowa while raising three children. In 1982 they retired and returned to Sheridan. Byron died in 1995.Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister. She is survived by her children: David (Joanne) Hamilton of Yuma, AZ, John (Marlis) Hamilton of Des Moines, IA, and Laurel (Daniel) Hills of Sheridan, WY, six grandchildren and sixgreat grandchildren.Per Judy\'s wishes, no services will be held.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
