Dale Ann Kobielusz, 71, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, August 22 at her home with her loving family. Dale Ann was born in Miami, Oklahoma on February 13, 1951 to Willa and Jerry Fugate. She moved with her parents to Sheridan, WY when she was two years old. At four years old, she was joined by a sister, Ronda Hennewinkel. Dale Ann grew up in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1969. Throughout her adult life, she lived in Missouri, Florida, and California in addition to Wyoming, but Sheridan was always her home. Dale Ann always loved spending time on the mountains with her dad, and she was very close to her mom and sister. Dale Ann worked at Woolworths in Sheridan for many years, and later at First Interstate Bank. In 1973, she welcomed her daughter, Misty Dawn. When she married Lawrence Kobielusz in 1982, she also gained four more children, Louisa, DarDan, Justin, and Jamie. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Alex, Jack, Randy, Steven, Tanner, Taylor, Destiny, Maya, Chaz, Kaito, Sayaka, Hayato, Tatianna, William Elmo, and Ashlyn Grace, and her nieces and nephews Mel, Desirae, Jerry Aaron and Deborah.

Dale Ann loved antiquing, traveling, adventures, and date nights with husband Larry, going to yard sales with daughter Misty, playing games with her mom Willa, and traveling with her sister Ronda. She loved traveling and, in her lifetime, visited Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Canada, and Mexico, as well as many states in America. She loved hiking, fishing, camping, and exploring, and finding antique treasures.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Fugate, her step-father, Dan Springer, her cousin and best friend Janice Edwards, and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her mother, Willa Nan Springer, her husband Lawrence D. Kobielusz, her sister Ronda Jean Hennewinkel, her daughter Misty Dawn Bateman, her step-children Dardan Kobielusz, Louisa Kobielusz, Jamie Calkins, and Justin Kobielusz, her grandchildren Alexandria Clearwater, Jacqueline Hughes, Randy Bateman, Steven Bateman, Tanner Kobielusz, Taylor Kobielusz, Kaito Kobielusz, Sayaka Kobielusz, Hayato Kobielusz, Destiny Yazzie, Maya Yazzie, Chaz Yazzie, Tatianna Evans, William Elmo Sou, and Ashlyn Grace Sou, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 30 at 11:00 am at Kane Funeral Home with Elder Melvin Maxted officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Kane Reception Hall.

Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
