David J. Ascoli, 39, of Sheridan, WY, died Friday, November 13, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Ascoli was born December 19, 1969 in Huntington, NY to Ralph and Kathryn (Spretnak) Ascoli. He grew up and attended schools in Huntington Station, NY, Cumberland, RI, and graduated from Bishop Feehan High School in 1988. David then attended Ohio University graduating 2001.

David worked for many years in the banking industry before moving to Sheridan, WY in 2004 where he was the Information Technology Administrator for Western Land Services.

He married Amy Lynn Smith in Las Vegas, NV on April 2, 2005.

David was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity at Ohio University and enjoyed E-Commerce, web-site designing, football, music, attending concerts with his wife, playing with his nieces and nephews, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Amy, of Sheridan, WY; his parents, Ralph and Kathryn Ascoli, of Edgewood, KY; one sister, Kristen Ascoli Schmidlin, of Union, KY; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in NY, CT, OH, GA, and NC; and in-laws, nieces, and nephews, all of Sheridan, WY.

Memorial service for David will be at 4:30 P. M. Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Rock Church, 100 W. Works St., Sheridan, WY. with Pastor Mike Garneau officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
