Dwaine Bobbitt, 73, of Sheridan passed away at his home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. .Dwaine was born on September 17, 1940 to Clarence William and Frances Fae (Anderson) Bobbitt in Sheridan where he was raised. He married the love of his life, Judith Ann Kiester on February 3, 1963 at the Assembly of God Church in Sheridan.Dwaine had an eighth grade education, but that didn\'t hold him back. He worked on different ranches, auto repair and had his own Service Station. He then went to work for Big Horn Coal, and then to Decker Coal. He worked there for twenty four years as a diesel mechanic, later becoming a foreman for Shop and Production.Dwaine loved to travel and spend time with his family, camping and fishing with his grandkids. He rebuilt houses and he and his brother-in-law built a house from the bottom up. He went to the Family Life Center.Dwaine was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Judy of Sheridan, children: Shelly (Marty) Jelly of Banner, WY, Craig Bobbitt of Augusta, GA, Melissa (Jim) Jelly of Sheridan, WY, Lindy (Bill) Leffingwell of Willsal, MT. His siblings Delmer (Bonnie) Bobbitt of Houston, TX, Carroll (Don) May of Ashland, MT, Joanne Ewalt of Snyder, TX, William (Vivian) Bobbitt of Bellevue, ID, grandchildren: Deanna (Raul) Varela, Shilo (Rick) Stainbrook, Emily Jelly, Steven Jelly, Alex Jelly, Ashley Jelly, Shelby Jelly, Mia (Dan) Janes, Sara Leffingwell, and great grandchildren: Lillian, Jasmine, Adam, Raechel, Kaela, Megan, Shaylyn, and Conner. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robert (Doris) Watt, brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Linda Kiester, and sister-in-law Darlene Kiester. He is also survived by many Dear nieces and nephews.A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Vine officiating. A Reception will follow immediately in the Kane Reception Hall. A private Inurnment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.Memorials to honor Dwaine can be made to Hospice of the Big Horns, P.O. Box 391, Sheridan, WY 82801 and to St. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
