‍Eyvonne Dee Burns Cotton, 89, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017, at the Westview Health Care Center. She was born the youngest of eight children on July 16, 1927, to parents Clarence Eugene and Lulu Delthana (Griffith) Burns on Squirrel Creek, Decker, MT.Eyvonne attended Big Horn County, MT, school through eighth grade. She started high school in Sheridan, WY, and finished in Mt. Grove, MO. She attended two years of college at the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. Eyvonne enjoyed flowers, gardening, playing the piano and accordion, spending time with friends and especially spending time with her family and grandkids. She has been a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sheridan since 1964.Eyvonne was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her children, Ward (Vicki) Cotton, Scott (Ann) Cotton, Starr (Doug) Heady, her eleven grandchildren, Candice, Chelsea, Krystal, Jarrod, Trevor, Drew, Chandra, Korina, Sean, Ryan, Breyanna and eighteen great grandchildren.A Viewing will be at 1:00 p.m. with Services at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Don Derryberry officiating. Interment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
