Gaylene (Gayle) Rose Johnson, age 85, passed away peacefully in Sheridan, Wyoming, on June 27th 2025A long-time resident of Ranchester, Gayle was known for her warm spirit, kindness, and devotion to her family.

Born with a heart full of love, Gayle cherished her role as a wife to John and mother to her three children, Gary, Jeri, and Larry. Her life was a testament to the deep bonds she shared with her family and friends. She was a constant source of support, offering gentle guidance, a listening ear, and unwavering love. Her children and grandchildren will forever carry her lessons of strength, compassion, and the importance of family.

Gaylene’s life was rich with the simple joys of the natural world, whether it was spending time with loved ones, tending to her garden on the ranch,. or enjoying the beauty of Wyoming’s wide open spaces. Her gentle presence will be missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on.

She is survived by her children Gary, Jeri, Larry, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with many extended family members and dear friends who were touched by her presence.

A private memorial service will be held for immediate family.
