Our dearly beloved Joe M Granger Sr. 65 died at his home in Big Horn on Aug 25, 2021 of a sudden heart attack.

Joe was born Aug 5, 1956 in Elkton, MD to Arthur and Irene (Sarkinen)Granger who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.

After graduating from Elkton High School in 1974 he moved to Battleground, WA and worked in

construction, logging, and cabinetmaking. He married Carla (Rosenlund) on Feb 28,1975 in Brush Prairie, WA. They moved to Sheridan, WY in 1976 were they raised their family.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carla Granger of Big Horn. Children; Maria (Chris) Sare of Story WY. Amber (Steve) Lehtola of Pelkie MI. Joshua (Brandy) of Rosebud, MT. Whisper (Jeremy) Tikka of Davenport, WA. Joey (Kristin) of Maple Plain, MN. John (Meghan) of Ashland, WI. Sam (Katy) of Bryant, SD. Daniel of Billings, MT. Scott of Deer Lodge, MT. Lance (Dionne) of Battle Ground, WA. Jack (Marie)of Big Horn, WY. Zach (Jenny) of Sheridan, WY.

Siblings; Arthur, Sam and Missy of Elkton, MD. Phillip of Sheridan, WY, And Michael of Newington, GA.

Joe was a fun Grandpa and his 36 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild delighted him.

Joe lived life with intensity, ingenuity, imagination, and humility. He will be sorely missed. We’re

grateful for all he gave to us and the time we have had with him. We carry his love forever in our hearts.

Viewing is 6-8pm Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church at 111 Metz Rd. Services will be held Friday September 3, 2021at 11 am with burial at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery in the Juniper Heights section.
