John Zullig, Sr., 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at his residence.John was born on October 30, 1944 to Conrad and Leona (Jenkins) Zullig in Sheridan, WY.John enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoor activities, farming, ranching, and especially spending time with family and friends. He was a Navy Veteran, past President of the Big Horn Historical Society and Mount Hope Cemetery Board Member.John was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Linda Zullig. He is survived by his children, Tina Zullig Korb of Seattle, WA and John Zullig Jr. of Sheridan, WY, partner in life, Kathy Noble, brother, Conrad Zullig, sisters, Leona Zullig Vaughn, Barbara Zullig Finch, Evelyn Chapek, five grandchildren, Jonnie, Julianna, Alexandria, Lizzy and Samuel.Memorials to honor John can be made to the Big Horn Historical Society, (BHCHS), P.O. Box 566, Big Horn, WY 82833.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014, at the Grace Chapel in Story, WY, with Pastor Bill Dill officiating. A potluck reception will follow at 12:00 at the Big Horn Women\'s Club.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
