Judy Connolly-Shepard passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Westview Health Care Center from complications of metastatic melanoma. Judy was born to Marian and Dale Connolly on December 5, 1955, in Buffalo, WY.She was the sister to Roger (Connie), Jack and Susan (Mark). She was also the proud aunt to Ryan, Kasie, Scott (Jamie) and Jeff. She had a special friendship with Ken Barnes.Judy enjoyed people and never knew a stranger. She especially loved talking and listening to the seniors at Sheridan Manor where she worked for several years. She always had a smile on her face. Judy also loved animals and had several dogs, cats, chickens and geese. She treated her pets like family, always taking them for rides in her car and talking to them like people!She was preceded in death by her mother, Marian and infant twin sister Joan. Judy will be sadly missed by her family and friends however she will remain in our hearts forever.The family is planning a private graveside memorial at a later date.Memorials to honor Judy may be made to Welch Cancer Center, PO Box 391, Sheridan, WY 82801, Hospice of the Big Horns, PO Box 391, Sheridan, WY 82801, or to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, 84 East Ridge Rd., Sheridan, WY 82801.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
