Karen Will, 66, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Billings Clinic in Billings Montana with her loving husband by her side.Karen was born on November 24, 1946 to Melvin and Dorothea (Fredrickson) Rank in Belle Fourche, SD. Karen grew up in the Gann Valley SD area. She married Rod Will on June 19, 1963, in Chamberlin, SD. Rod and Karen moved to Sheridan WY in 1969 where they remained to live their lives and raise their children. Rod and Karen recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family. Karen was employed for many years at Pamida as their book keeper and spent the last several years employed with First Interstate Bank in Sheridan.Karen lived life to the fullest with a beautiful smile and laugh that we will all miss. Karen enjoyed any and all activities that included her husband and family. She enjoyed riding on the Goldwing Trike with her husband. She also loved the Big Horn Mountains and camping, fishing, snowmobiling, boating, watching her husband, son, grandson and granddaughter race cars and motorcycles, dancing a good polka, sewing, crocheting, cooking, and so many other activities that she never had a dull moment in her life. Her home was always open for friends and family, whom she loved very deeply.Karen was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Linda Volesky. She is survived by her husband, Rod, children; Tammi (Duane) Brunson and Jay (Molly) Will all of Sheridan, WY, grandchildren; Crystal (Gene) Admidin of ND, Cadie Brunson, Justin Will, and Mikayla Will all from Sheridan along with six great grandchildren, siblings; Mel Dean Rank, Melva Rank, and Chepa Rank, and step mother Nita Rank all from Fort Thompson SD.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Kane Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Miller officiating. A Reception will be held at the Kane Funeral Home following the service. Donations to honor Karen may be made to the Donor\'s choice.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
