Lula Lee Wilson, 87, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Westview Health Care Center.Lula was born on August 23, 1926 in Franklin, TX to parents Oscar Carroll and Lula (Griffin) Carroll. She married William “Pete” Benjamin Wilson on December 17, 1956 in New Waverly, TX. Together they raised three children; Patricia, David and Nettie.Lula was a member of the Church of Christ. She portrayed a Christ like love to helping others. Always lending her loving hand for others.Lula was preceded in death by her parents, and husband. She is survived by her children; Patricia(Ernie) Miller of Limon, CO, David (Molly)Wilson, Sr. of Waco, TX, and Nettie (Mack) Cook of Sheridan, WY, seven grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.A special thanks goes to her many friends at the Sheridan Senior Center.There will be a gathering for family and friends at the home of her daughter, Nettie from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 555 W. Loucks, Sheridan, WY. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the East Sandy Cemetery in New Waverly, TX.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
