Marian Virginia Gosch
About:
Marian Virginia Gosch, 95, of Sheridan, WY was peacefully received into the arms of her Savior on September 26, 2025. After suffering a massive stroke, she was lovingly cared for by her children and staff at Greenhouse Living, where she passed away surrounded by all of them.
Marian was born in Hegler, Idaho on April 6, 1930, to Stella and Frank Harvey, alongside her beloved twin brother, Myron Virgil Harvey. The family moved to Kirby, Montana in 1939, but after her father's untimely death, they relocated to Sheridan around 1945, where Marian graduated from Sheridan High School.
She was proceeded in death by the love of her life, William Gosch, whom she had married in 1950. Together they raised five children: Wilma Kildau (Sheridan), Chris Gosch and Janice (Sheridan), DeAnna Graves and David (Ajo, Arizona), Trish Hartford and Glen (Battle Mountain), and Cindy Lopez and Jim (Albuquerque, New Mexico).
Marian was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother to Terra (Brandon), Raymond III, Scott and Christian (Gavin, Emma), Amy (Anthony, Richard, Krystena, Ion, Connor), Shawn and LaTeasha (Thomas, Aaron, Josef, Layton, Zachary), Nathan, and Heather and Dusty.
Her faith, family, and friends were everything to her. Marian had a special gift for touching lives through small acts of kindness, particularly her handmade plastic canvas bookmarks that she lovingly shared with students at Immanuel Lutheran Grammar School and the many children who visited the Sheridan Carnegie Library. Her warm smile and generous spirit earned her countless friends throughout her life, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters; Donna, Ileana, Ina, and Iola, and six brothers; her beloved twin Myron, Daniel, Horace, Leland, John, and Lynn.
A Celebration Of Marian's life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 with a public viewing at 10:00 A.M. and a Service at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception in the Immanuel Lutheran Reception Hall. Interment will follow at Sheridan Memorial Cemetery.
