Mary Ann Evans, 86, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at the Sheridan Manor. She was born on May 4, 1928, in Martin, SD, to parents Arthur and Zona (Ruleau) Skalinder. She married Kenneth Evans in Chadron, Nebraska, September 1952.Mary Ann enjoyed crafts, tatting, crocheting, knitting, traveling, fishing and spending time with her family.Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, brother Elvyn Skalinder, and sister Essie Haag. She is survived by her husband, and son, Mike (Janet) Evans of Sheridan, WY, and siblings; Margaret (Sylvan) Hauff of Rapid City, SD, CeCee (Bobby) Bolzer of Martin, SD, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.Memorials to Honor Mary Ann can be made to the charity of your choice.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
