Click Here For DirectionsMary Frances Bartenhagen, 85, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.Mary was born on December 8, 1927 in Rock Springs, MT to parents Joseph and Emily (Vauner) Moshovsky. After she graduated high school she received her Registered Nursing Degree in Miles City, MT. She worked at the Sheridan VA for thirty years before retiring in February 1987. She volunteered at the Holy Name Thrift Store for many years.Mary enjoyed fishing (she would out fish anybody), quilting, cooking, camping, crocheting rugs and winning at scrabble. Most of all she loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Otto Moshovsky and sister, Rose Greff. She is survived by her sister, Lillian Burch, children; Steven Bartenhagen, of Denver, CO, David (Laurie) Bartenhagen of Williston, ND, Lexie (Rolland) Culligan of Sheridan, WY and Keith (Shelly) Bartenhagen of France, her grandchildren; Nicole Costa, Jessica Culligan, Marcia and Geoff Graham, Matt and Jamey Bartenhagen, Andrea, Nick, Alesha, Christopher, Chase Bartenhagen. Great grandchildren Riley Costa, Hailey Bartenhagen, Ben Bartenhagen and Harper Graham.A Visitation will be at 6:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Kane Funeral Home with Father Michael Ehiemere Officiating.A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Michael Ehiemere Officiating. Interment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Father Michael Ehiemere Officiating.
