Mida Bell Potter,89, passed away in Sheridan, WY on Monday, July 21, 2025. Born on October 1, 1935, in Inez, Kentucky where she was raised until she was9 years old and then moved to Phoenix, AZ. Larry and Mida were married for 43 years. Larry Sr., 62, died in 1998; she cared for him until the end.

Son Larry L. Potter Jr., born on October 24, 1957, passed away on April 28, 2006, in Santa Paula, CA, and lived with his mom and dad for the full 48 years of his life.

Mida, Larry Sr. and Larry Jr. had worked at Millums Linen in Phoenix, AZ and later moved to Santa Paula, CA in 1960 where the company became Mission Linen. For 30 years Larry Sr. and Larry Jr. spent some of that time in making truck deliveries to Ojai and Ventura.

Mida Potter worked30 years at the Olga Woman’s Clothing Store and then retired to care of her husband and son in Santa Paula.; she cared for them by herself until they both passed from cancer. Later, Mida moved to Sheridan, WY in 2017 with her daughter Sabrina and Mark Elledge.

Stricken with Alzheimer's, Sabrina cared for her mother for 8 years up until the end.

Mida is survived byher sisters Libby Halford of Portland, OR, and Audrey Hegwood of Phoenix, AZ as well as grand and greatgrandchildren. Brother Troy Arwood died in Goodyear, AZ; he was also born in Inez, Kentucky. He was married to Alisha Arwood with 3 surviving son's and many grand and greatgrandchildren. Her surviving daughter Sabrina has two children, daughter Melissa Pender, of  Modesto, CA, 44 years old, and son Robert Peck II, of Placerville, CA, 50 years old. Mida also has one great-greatgrandchild, Robert’s son Ryan Sams, age 3.

Mina requested that no services be held.
