View Service FolderNan B. Wertman, 98, of Wolf, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at her residence. She was born on January 24, 1916, in Bala-Cynwyd, PA, to parents Frank E. and Gladys (Campbell) Baker.Nan came from PA in the early 1930\'s with her family as “dudes” at Eatons\' Ranch, where she met and married her first husband, Billy Eaton. He passed away in 1949.She later married Roy Wertman.Nan taught ballet and tap in Sheridan for several years. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, needlepoint, playing piano, dancing and spending time with her family. She was active in several organizations, Chapter B, PEO, The Book Review Club, St. Peter\'s Episcopal Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years and served on the hospital Auxiliary Board. In the summer season she was very involved with the social activities at Eatons\' Ranch where she lived until her death.Nan was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, William A. Eaton, Jr. and E.L. “Roy” Wertman, sisters, Gladys Monier and Jean Anthony. She is survived by her children; Frank (Kathy) Eaton, of Wolf, WY, Jaci (Doyl) Fritz, of Wolf, WY, and Wendy (Jim) Martin, of Buffalo, WY, grandchildren, Laura Eaton, Mary Eaton-Schmeiser, Jennifer Gulley, Jack Fritz, and Amy Pierson. She also is survived by her six great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014, at St. Peter\'s Episcopal Church with Father John Inserra officiating. A reception will follow at the Parish Hall.Memorials to honor Nan may be made to St. Peter\'s Episcopal Church at 1 South Tschirgi St., Sheridan, WY 82801 or to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter at 84 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY 82801.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
