Nick Brian Barthel, 53, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.Nick was born on July 20, 1960 in Chicago, IL to parents James Milton and Joyce Anne (Murawski) Barthel. The family moved to Worland, WY where he graduated from Worland High School in 1979. He married Barbara Alice Bell on April 14, 2006.View Service FolderNick was a Long Haul Trucker and loved the quiet drives in the night. He loved the mountains and mother nature from the many places he had traveled. He enjoyed fishing, driving his Quad through mud, hunting, fixing guns and being a handyman. He was a kind, gentle, quiet man that went out of his way to help others.Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents; Gene and Maria Murawski, and Ray and Gladys Barthel, his dad, James, long time companion , Barbara Parker, sister, Joyce, uncle, Eugene Murawski, and cousins; Ray Richard Barthel and Nichole Murawski.
