Pamela Joy Harper, 64, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital surrounded by over 20 loved ones after fighting a courageous 2 year battle with cancer.Pam was born on August 6, 1953, to Harold and Luella (Rabe) Krinning in Sheridan, WY.She graduated from Berlin American High School, Berlin Germany in 1971. She was a member of the Berlin Brats Alumni. She married Wayne Harper on October 19, 1972 in Belle Fourche, SD. Together they built a home that raised their six children and countless others that quickly became family. She started many family traditions of which her favorite was always Sunday Morning Breakfast where there was always room at the table. All of the traditions, especially this one, will continue on at Wayne and Pam’s house through her children.Pam devoted her life to helping and caring for children whether they were her own or complete strangers. She was one of the founders and the director of Sheridan High School Project Graduation for more than 20 years. Pam’s volunteer efforts were limitless in this community, and her willingness to give everything she had to people was unlimited. She loved traveling, attending concerts, sewing, reading, and spending time with her family.Pam was preceded in death by her father Harold Krinning. She is survived by her husband Wayne Harper, children Marcia Harper of Sheridan, WY, Tammy (Chad) Switzenberg of Sheridan, WY, Mike (Carla) Harper of Buffalo, WY, Deanna (Charlie) Ware of Sheridan, WY, Sheila (Chris) Georgen of Sheridan, WY, Haley (Andy) Georgen of Sheridan, WY, grandchildren Stanton, Jade, Shariah, Tyrell, Kyanna, Riley, Morgan, Brayden and Griffin. Also, her mother Luella Krinning of Pickton, TX, sister Kathy (Toby) Seeglitz of San Diego, CA, and brother Russ Krinning of Pickton, TX.Memorials to honor Pam can be made to Project Graduation, PO Box 7011, Sheridan, WY 82801.A Celebration of Life, Pot Luck, will be at 4:00 pm, on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Elks Lodge.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
