Roberta Rae Elliott McKenzie, 75, of Sheridan, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at the Sheridan Manor.Roberta was born on October 26, 1938, to Ray and Agnes (Petitt) Elliott in Sheridan, WY. She married C.F. McKenzie, Jr. (Chub), on June 12, 1958. Together they raised five children.Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Bill and infant daughter, Melissa. She is survived by her children; Honye (David) Miller, April (Bob) Shinkle, Leanna (Darin) Sadler, Kelly (Ken) Rasmussen, and Ron McKenzie, a brother, Doug (Roxanne) Elliott, nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.Memorials to honor Roberta may be made to Sheridan County Memorial Hospital,Pediatric Unit, 1401 W. 5th St., Sheridan, WY 82801.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
