About:

Stephanie Lynn Grasky was born in Miles City Mt on February 18, 1970 the third of five daughters to Leo and Patti Grasky. She was an animated child full of spunk. She attended Holy Name Catholic School , Sheridan High School and Custer County High School in Miles City.

Upon graduation she worked as a nanny in the DC area and for several families around the Sheridan area. Stephanie’s calling in life was her career as a caregiver. She brightened her clients’ days with her infectious personality and high spirits. There were many holidays when she would bring residents home for family dinner because they had nowhere else to go.

There are numerous stories told of how she always made sure the ladies had their hair and make-up done for all the special occasions, always wanting them to look their best. Her residents loved her and she loved them.

Stephanie especially loved her boys Brock and Zach. She was always sure to be at their side with egg drop soup when they were sick or make them her famous “my mama mochas”. She was always giving to others. She remembered special occasions with flowers for loved ones and made sure people knew she was thinking of them. No matter where Stephanie went, she was sure to run into someone she knew, and people were always excited to see her. It didn’t matter what she was eating whether it was pancakes or pizza, she had to have a side of ranch with it. You always knew where she had been because the signature scent of her laundry soap lingered wherever she was.

Her greatest joy was becoming a Grammy. Stephanie loved having sleepovers and dance parties with her grandkids. She would often be found in the kitchen baking cakes, cookies and other sweet treats with them. It was a tradition to have them over to decorate for holidays and enjoy hot chocolate and movies. Dressing her grandkids in matching pajamas was a must! She would often bring the grandkids to her work to visit and interact with the residents, combining her two favorite things in life.

Preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Patti Grasky, and Terry Grasky. Sister, Kimberly Grasky. Survived by her sons, Brock (Keandra) Grasky, Zachary (Makenna) Grasky. Grandkids: Rhilynn, Lakiya, Kamdyn and Zayden Grasky. Sisters: Debbie (Rick) Oatts, Jennifer (Dave) Lawson and Sarah (Scott) Smothers. Nieces and nephews; Hattie (Ben) Carlson, Tyler (Mckyla) Oatts, Preston Doyle, Hunter (Shelby) Doyle and Kendall, Kelsey and Kylee Smothers and multiple great- nieces and nephews.
