Thomas L. Connolly, 92, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Sheridan Manor.Thomas was born on March 12, 1921, in Sheridan, WY, to parents, Elmer T. and Mary E. (Buckley) Connolly. He joined the Army in December of 1944, and served during WWII, ending his service in October of 1946.Tom enjoyed cars and working on just about anything. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #520 and the American Legion Post #7.Tom (TL) was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Esther West, Annabelle Weltner, Evelyn Sullivan, and Pat Connolly, brothers in law; Ed West, Jean Weltner, and Jerry Sullivan, and Bud Bickel; a nephew, Robert Connolly, and an infant niece. He is survived by his children: Eunice Caldwell, of Pierre, SD, Dee Rhae (Brad) Caldwell, of Colorado Springs, CO, Tom Connolly of Queen Creek, AZ; grandchildren: Chanda Caldwell, Bryan (Lynelle) Caldwell, Chad (Joyce) Caldwell, Christi (Roy) Hendrickson, Eric Schneider, Becky (Quinton) Bauer, Cade Caldwell, Jayna (Scott) Sullivan, Kasey (James) Hansen, Lani (Web) Askew and Tim (Cass) Connolly; along with his siblings: Marietta Bickel, Dale Connolly, Florence (Ed) Dahlin and Bob (Rita) Connolly, all of Sheridan, WY, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014, in the Sheridan Elks Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors.
