Travis Jacob Lindstrom, 33, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014.Travis was born on January 22, 1981, to Donnie and Jane (Legerski) Lindstrom in Sheridan, WY.Travis worked the last ten years at Cloud Peak Energy, Spring Creek Coal as a dozer operator but, most recently as a production utility on the water cable crew. He was always the first to step up to those challenging tasks.Travis loved life, his friends and family. He lived for crossfit the last three years, enjoyed his motorcycles, 4-wheelers, snowmobiles, camping, fishing, hunting, golf and before crossfit it was bull fighting. He always had a new or different vehicle, with his family counting twenty since he was sixteen years old.Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents,Walter and Clara Lindstrom, grandfather, George Legerski and cousin, Tammy Legerski Collins. He is survived by his parents, Donnie and Jane, sister, Jennifer Flannery, brother in law, David Flannery, nieces, Lexys and Ashlee, nephew, Conner, grandmother, Mary Legerski and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.A Memorial Fund has been established for his nephew and nieces college education. Donations may be made to the Travis J. Lindstrom Memorial Fund at the Bank of Sheridan, 1375 Sugarland Dr., Sheridan, WY 82801.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the Sheridan High School Auditorium with Jay Cook officiating.
