Virgie Aragon Palomo, 62, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at her home. Virgie was born on January 25, 1951 in Worland, WY to parents Benito Espinosa Aragon and Vivian (Gonzales) Aragon. She lived most of her life in Sheridan, WY.Virgie worked as a Therapy Assistant with the Developmentally Disabled and she loved each one of them. Before she became ill her most precious position was caring for Hillary. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, bingo, shopping at second hands, and music, American and Spanish, movies and her animals, also visiting her sisters each year in TX. Virgie was the oldest of ten children. Virgie loved her family and her home was an open sanctuary to all who needed help. Virgie\'s home was never empty and neither was her heart. She became a second mom and was loved by so many.Virgie was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Pamela Gomez and Carmen Maurer. She is survived by her sons, Elvariste (Jr.) Gomez, Manuel Carlos Rios, Adrian Rios, all of Sheridan, WY, and a daughter, Daisy Gomez of Limon, NE, siblings Daisy Kosine of Fort Worth, TX, Benito Aragon of Sheridan, WY, Gloria Aragon of Fort Worth, TX, Molly Gonzales, of Banquete TX, Roylee Longoria of Sterling, CO, Ysidro Longoria of Alamosa, CO, Billy Joe Longoria of Sheridan, WY, Angie Longoria of Laredo, TX, Patricia Longoria of Pueblo, CO, her grandchildren, Antonio Gomez, Sierra Gomez, Derek Gomez, Daisy Freeman, Marcy Hall, Jennifer Arolle, Fredo Gomez, J.J. Cantu Jr., Cassie Maurer, Jake Maurer, Nicki Chilton, Felicia Mayer Artsdale, Logan Rios, Gaige Rios, LeveAnn Rios, Brittany Rios, and great grandchildren.A Celebration of Life for Virgie will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Kane Funeral Home with Father Ron Stolcis officiating. A reception will follow immediately at the Holy Name Catholic Church Parish Hall.Memorials to honor Virgie may be made to the Lung Cancer Research at the American Cancer Society, 333 S.
