Wendell H. Caster, 78, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, MT. Wendell was born on September 3, 1936, in Casper, WY to parents Homer and Ada (Carson) Caster. He married Maxine Joy on September 12, 1957, in Casper. Wendell worked for Great Lakes Carbon and Exxon and over the road trucking.  He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. Wendell was preceded in death by parents, Ada and Homer, brothers, Glen, Calvin, Roy and sister, Louise Sharp.  He is survived by his wife, Maxine, sons, Donald Caster of Sheridan, WY, Jeffrey Caster of Douglas, WY, Andrew Caster of Springtown, TX, sister, Georgetta Humphry of Torrington, WY, sister, Mardell Joy of Lingle, WY, brother, Marvin Caster of Kansas, three granddaughters and four grandsons, three great granddaughters, three great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the First Christian Church with Pastor Doug Goodwin officiating.  A reception will follow the service.  Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
