Bill Shannon, 79, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at his residence. He was born on February 20, 1935, in Quaker, WV.Bill joined the US Army, serving in the Korean War. He married Coral on June 3, 1994.Bill enjoyed carpentry, welding, mountains, ranching and his family. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion.Bill is survived by his wife, Coral, step children; Clayton (Sharon) Gillespie, Genille (Donnie) Dobrenz, Vicki (Ward) Cotton, Diane (Don) Emler, Cara (Rick) Levi, Chaplain Leslie Nelson, Curtis (Rose) Hudecek and Cheryl (Barry) Sodergren. Mr. Bill is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.Per his request no services will be held. Cards may be sent to Coral Shannon, 2076 S.
