Wyoma B.“Butch” Linley, 91, passed away on September 3, 2015 at Westview Health Care Center. Butch was born June 13, 1924 in Gillette, Wyoming to Ruth (Plaster) and Tony Neff. She married Richard T. “Dick” Linley in September, 1948. They made their home in Sheridan.Butch worked for many years at Brown Drug and other odd jobs over the years. Most recently she worked at the Sheridan Senior Center. She was known by many and loved by all. She loved spending time with her family, doing arts and crafts and word search puzzles. In her earlier years she loved to fish, camp and bowled in several bowling leagues. She especially enjoyed staying in their camper on the mountain, spending time with her beloved husband. Although she did not have children of her own, she was a large part of nurturing, loving and always being available for her extended family.She was preceded in death by her husband Dick; sister Nadine Crook, and nephew Duane Crook.She is survived by a sister, Norma L. Goodman of Sheridan, niece Diane (Jim) Archerd of Cheyenne, and niece Cheryl Crook of Sheridan, great nieces Jessica (Greg) McClure of Littleton, CO; Melissa (Dan) Gatley of Laurel, MT; Brandi (Paul) Robinson of Cheyenne; great-great nephew Jackson Gatley and great great niece Tasarra Robinson. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.No services will be held at the request of the decedent and cremation has taken place.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
