Barbara Ann Thielen, 86, of Sheridan, WY passed away on June 26, 2021 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital with her children by her side.

Barbara was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on April 18,1935 to Tom and Grace Saunders.

She was one of seven children. She married Frank Thielen on September 12, 1950 in Lead, SD. Together they had four Children.

Barbara was a homemaker and then a beautician, owning her own shop for years in Ranchester, Wy. She worked at Walmart in Sheridan, WY for 20 plus years until her

retirement.

She was loved by so many. Her favorite past times were family get togethers, antique shopping and working in her yard. She looked forward to traveling to Utah every summer to visit her youngest daughter. There were many discussions and guesses on what pie she was making for the holiday meal and who was going home with it.

Barbara is survived by her children, Donna Abney, Tim (Connie) Thielen, Laurie Shannon, Mary (Dave) Sadzewic, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Frank, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

There are no funeral arrangements at this time. The family will have a gathering at a later date.
