Charles “Chuck” Wayne Brown, 63, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 23, 1952, in Buffalo, WY, to parents John Edgar and Estella Dale (Bulkley) Brown. Chuck married Clara B. Dykes on September 30, 1971. He served in the US Navy from September of 1970 to August of 1972. He then transferred to the Naval Reserve where he served until June of 1976. Chuck enjoyed woodworking, hunting, camping, fishing, the outdoors and bingo. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Carrie Jo and a sister. He is survived by his wife, Clara, daughter, Kristi (Sean, Sr.) King, their children, Joshua (Ashley) Wintermute, Sean King Jr., Travis King, Nicholas King, Kiara King and their grandchild, Tegan Wintermute, son, Charles “Scott” Brown, his daughter, Brieseis, daughter, Tammy Hogan and her children, Kyle Hogan, Terra Hogan and Christopher Hogan II, daughter, Audrey (David) Corson and their children, Alyssa Brown, David “Aaron” Corson, Jacob Corson, Natalie Corson, Madison Corson and Sydney Corson, two brothers, three sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and many, many more that called him “Papa”.A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the VFW.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
