Con Calvin Walsh, 63, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 at his residence.Con was born in Casper, WY on June 1, 1950 to parents Steve Thomas and Eulala (Chastaine) Walsh. He joined the Army and served three tours in Vietnam War.Con married Kathrine Rose Simmerman on February 14, 2000 in Sheridan, WY. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping and being with his children and grandchildren.Con was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Eddie Walsh, Thomas Walsh, Joseph Walsh, sister, Martha Potter. He is survived by his daughter, Connie Marie (Derek) Beeson, of Casper, WY, son, William Paul (Monica) Walsh, Sheridan, WY step children; Kenneth Samdahl, of Virginia Beach, VA, Kelvin Samdahl, of San Diego, CA, Earl Samdahl, of Fairbury, IL, Steven Samdahl, David Samdahl and Annetta Sayer, all of Sheridan, WY, siblings Mary Alvarez, Chester Walsh, Steve Walsh, Mike Walsh, Julie Jackson and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.A Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014. Graveside Services will follow with full Military Honors at 2:00 p.m. in the Evergreen View of the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Scott Lee officiating.Memorials to honor Con may be made to the Disabled American Veterans at P.O.
