Daniel Dennis Wasserburger, born on May 13th, 1949 has unfortunately passed away on February 20, 2026.

Graduating from Lusk High school and Laramie College.

Daniel did everything he possibly could to help his family and friends. Working for the rail road for over 30 years .

He found so much joy in learning and working on new things whether it be cars, traveling the world, or his family. He was always growing and always made it apparent that no matter who you were or where you came from, he was there to help you without judgment, even if that meant just listening or cracking a joke. He will be dearly missed by all of the people in which he made such an impact upon.

Proceeded in death by his mother Katherine Daly and his father John Wasserburger. Survived by his beloved wife Mary Lou, his brothers John and Jim, his wonderful children Shawn and Brandi, and his grandchildren Christi, Spencer, Bentley and Hudson.

A public viewing for Daniel Wasserburger will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, at the American Legion Hall, in Buffalo, WY on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, followed by a Service officiated by Father Tom.

Interment will take place immediately following the service at the Willow Grove Cemetery. A luncheon will be served back at the Legion.

Champion Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
