‍Daniel Patrick “Danny” Sutherland, 40, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital resulting from a car accident. He was born on September 9, 1975, in Sheridan, WY, to parents James Patrick and Tena Marie (Onkka) Sutherland.Danny was a truck driver, construction worker and oil field rig hand. He married Heather McDougall on September 19, 2010 in Sheridan, WY.Danny enjoyed traveling, spending time outdoors, carpentry, working on the house and other projects, BBQ\'s, frisbee golf, camping, music, watching his favorite TV show “Friends,” fantasy football, his football team – 49ers, helping others in need and spending time with family and friends.Danny was preceded in death by his great grandparents, grandmother, and cousins; Joey and Chris Onkka. He is survived by his wife, Heather, of Sheridan, parents, Tena Marie Sutherland of Sheridan, and James Patrick Sutherland also of Sheridan, grandmother, Ila Onkka of Sheridan, his children: Kameron Sutherland, Brayden Sutherland, Alexis Sutherland, Elizabeth McDougall, Stephanie McDougall, all of Sheridan, Kaylynn Myers of Gillette, and half brother, Joshua Clearwater of Denver and four grandchildren. Also, uncles, Herbert (Lauri) Onkka, Timothy Onkka of Sheridan, David (Tammy) Onkka of Central Point, OR, cousins, Joshua Onkka, Melanie Nester and Curtis Onkka.
