Donald Lee Frady, 54, passed away with his family by his side on September 12th 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. After a long, hard-fought battle with cancer, Don was reunited with the Lord.

Donald was born to Ross and Carolyn Frady on July 13th, 1972, in Casper, Wyoming. He lived in Casper until his family moved to Clearmont Wyoming in June of 1976.Don graduated from Arvada/Clearmont High School in 1990. While in high school, his father Ross instilled within him a strong work ethic, as well as a large handful of skills, making hard work a core value for him. Right out of high school Don became an over the road truck driver for a little under a year. In this time Don had his first child Winona on February 11th 1992. He then moved to Gillette to pursue a career in the local oil field industry where he stayed from 1991 to 2018.  Throughout his tenure in the oilfield Don held many positions from floor hand, to fisherman, to consultant.  During this time Don married the love of his life, Clarinda Gail (Smith) Frady in 1996.

They moved to Casper in 2000, where 6 years later in 2006, they had their son Nathan L. Frady.  In 2018 Don and his family moved back to Gillette where Don started work at Peabody Energy coal mine, opting to have more time with his family. In 2023 Don and his wife Gail began attending Central Baptist Church to strengthen their relationship with the Lord.  Shortly after this decision Don was saved, giving his life to the Lord in 2024.

Don loved to spend his free time with his family and his church family.  He loved going camping, being at the lake or in the mountains, hunting, going on long drives, and anything that included being outdoors.  He also enjoyed working on and fixing things; he had an endless knowledge of vehicles and loved working on them. Don also had a lot of love for his church family, joining them for weekly services, prayer groups, men’s breakfasts, and helping run the livestream and audio room at the church.

One of Don's most cherished moments, along with the marriage of his wife and the birth of his children, was the birth of his only grandchild Serene.  He was beyond thrilled to be a grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him during his life.

He was greatly loved.Don was preceded in death by his Father Ross Frady, his mother Carol (Wigginton) Frady, and his brother Eric Wade Frady, as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Clarinda Gail Frady of Gillette, Wyoming, his son Nathan Frady also of Gillette, his daughter Winona Becker (Warren Becker), his only granddaughter Serene Becker of Sheridan Wyoming, and his Brother Steven Frady of Fort Morgan, Colorado.

A memorial service to honor Don's life will be held at Central Baptist church on September 25th, 2026 at 11am, in Gillette, Wyoming, Pastor Jeremy Gilbert officiating.
