Donald Eugene Norskog

Some called him Donnie or Rooster or Kog. Don was born September 13, 1949 to Jim & Bernice Norskog in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He passed away May 31, 2023 peacefully at his home in Sheridan.

Don moved with his parents to Big Horn, WY as a toddler and was later joined by his sister, Marsha and brother, Tony. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1968 and served in the Navy Seabees 1970-1972. He was honorably discharged.

He met and married the love of his life, Deb in February, 2009.

He retired from Spring Creek Mine as a heavy equipment operator in December 2012.

In addition to Deb, his passions were working on his many cars & hot rods, truck pulling and jeeping on the Big Horn Mountains.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father Ed Worden and his beloved dog Molly.

He is survived by his wife, Deb, his sister Marsha (Ed) Neeriemer, his brother Tony (Valerie) Norskog, his children Brandy (Joe) Campbell, Ryk Norskog, Greg Norskog, Jackie (Jeremy) Hudoba, April (JR) Hunter, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by many friends and his dog, Lucy.

The family asks that you tip a cool one in his memory. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will be at Killy’s on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 PM
