About:

Erin Ashlee Dearcorn departed from her mortal body to be united with Christ in heaven on October 13, 2025. Erin was born to David and Nancy (Lewis) Dearcorn in Rock Springs, Wyoming, on April 18, 1974.

Erin is now reunited with her father Dave who preceded her in death in February of 2023.

Erin graduated from Tongue River High School in 1992 and had a passion for music. She was a gifted artist who’s self-taught piano skills and vocals could steal away your attention from any room in the house. Erin truly had an artist’s hand and whether the medium was clay or wood, she loved creating. Most often those creations would become special gifts and nothing filled her heart more than to give away one of her masterpieces. Erin was a hard worker – a trait she earned watching her father from a young age.

She was passionate about her pets and often brought home family cats for the home to enjoy. Her love of horses and dogs began at a young age and that love would never leave her. Erin was gifted with a huge heart and took in the castaways of life to which many she would serve as a loyal friend and care-taker. But her greatest love was her three girls. They would talk daily and shared more inside jokes than the family may ever understand.

Erin is preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Dave. She is survived by her three daughters, Ryver (Mason) Stone, Dalaynie Dearcorn, and Ivy Dearcorn; her mother, Nancy Dearcorn; her brothers, Eric (Teresa) Dearcorn, DJ (Elizabeth) Dearcorn, nieces (whom she adored), and her long-time companion, Shane Bryant; several cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends far and wide.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 8th at 1:00 P.M. located at Dayton Community Hall to Honor Erin’s life and support her family. Erin’s wishes were to have her ashes spread among the range of wild horses. In lieu of flowers, please consider offering support to her daughters through an account in Erin’s honor at First Federal Bank & Trust.

Champion Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
