Gayle Marie Herden Jack, of Sheridan, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the age of 59 on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.Gayle was born to George and Jo (Michels) Herden Sare on January 6th, 1954 in Sheridan, WY. She was baptized at the First United Methodist Church in Sheridan. She attended schools in Casper, Riverton and Salt Lake City. She married John Jack in Casper, WY.Gayle enjoyed her family and friends, crocheting, camping and fishing.Gayle was preceded in death by her father, George, and brothers; Albert (Toby) and George. She is survived by her mother, Jo, stepfather, Keith, sisters; Leslie Leslie and Melody Herden, her son, Michael John and five grandchildren; Charles, Mykayla, Alex, Payton and Deegan, stepbrothers; Chris (Maria) Sare, Jaye (Vicki) Sare and stepsister, Kitty (Dean) Harrington, nephews; Greg Herden, Travis Cureton, Cristy Herden, George Herden, Philisha McBride, Chelsea Hardy and Deven Herden.A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Kane Funeral Home with Reverend Don Derryberry officiating.Memorials to honor Gayle may be made to the Welch Cancer Center at PO Box 391, Sheridan, WY 82801 or to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter at 84 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY 82801.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
