Hugh Stephen (Slick) Mason passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, MT. He was born in 1953 to Vivian and Kenneth Mason.

He was a United States Navy Hospital Corpsman from 1972 – 1976. Post military discharge he graduated with a BSN from the University of Maryland.

He has left behind his son Stephen D. Mason of Maryland and 2 granddaughters Kaylin and Lillian. Also a sister Kelly Baker of Florida. He had 2 former marriages to Cherisse Mason and Debbie Mason (mother of Stephen).

As per Stephens request no funeral or memorial service will be held at this time. An inurnment will take place at eh Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors in the Spring/Summer of 2024; date to be determined. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Military Honors will be held for Hugh at Kane Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
