Jeannie Irene Eman passed away at Green House Living in Sheridan, Wyoming on July 23, 2026. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private internment of ashes.
Mrs. Eman was born in Washburn, ND on October 9, 1937. She married James D. Eman in Bismarck, ND on December 17, 1955. She moved to the Sheridan area with
her husband and two sons in 1964.
Jeannie was employed in various office positions and retired from the VA Medical Center in 1987. After retirement, she and her husband traveled around the United
States and abroad. Jeannie served as a volunteer at the Historic Sheridan Inn, Sheridan Memorial Hospital and the Hub on Smith. They had a winter home in Arizona
for 24 years.
Jeannie was a skilled quilter and was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church since locating to Sheridan in 1964.
Mrs. Eman was preceded in death by her husband, James, two sisters, a brother and a daughter-in-law. Survivors include two sons, Jay (Carla) of Omaha, NE and Jeff
(Shellie) of Sheridan, WY, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorials may benefit the Hub on Smith, Trinity Lutheran Church or an organization of choice.
