Kristin Anne Olafson Kraft of Sheridan, WY, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016, in the Big Horn Mountains. She was born on June 14, 1972, in Missoula, MT. She attended Sheridan schools and Casper College.Kristin was her own person, a generous, compassionate spirit who gave freely of herself. She was the founder and co-owner of Independent Opportunities – a warm and creative environment for people with disabilities in Casper, WY. Kristin will be missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends and especially by her former clients or “Kiddos” as she liked to call them. She loved spending time in the mountains with her family and friends and was a gifted crafter.She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Irene Olafson and Thomas L. Novotny; aunts, Carol Olafson and Pam Corkill. She is survived by her children, Jordan Hilling, of Sheridan and Chloe Kraft of Casper; parents, Robert (Leah) Olofson of Sheridan and Kathryn Olafson-Smith of Tega Cay, SC; brother Erik Olafson of Casper, sister Meghan Smith of Tega Cay,SC, grandmother Margie Novotny and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
