He was born on July 7, 1949, in Delray Beach, FL, to parents Lewis W. and Kate (DeWolfe) Currier, Jr.Lewis served as a Combat Medic in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Arlene Wells on June 26, 1999 in Pompano Beach, FL.Lewis enjoyed photography, exploring, discovering things, music and time spent with Arlene in Crazy Woman Canyon. He was a member of the VFW and Life Member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.Lewis was preceded in death by his father, Lewis W. Currier, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Kate DeWolfe of Pompano Beach, FL, his wife, Arlene of Sheridan, WY, his children, Kelcie Currier of Clearwater, FL, Ian Currier of Clearwater, FL, Thomas Currier and his mother Mary Ann of Buffalo, NY, his siblings, Mary (Bob) Lacort of Davidson, NC, Joyce (Warren) Price of Cary, NC, Linda (Ken) Lemur of Venice, FL, and Jonathan (Brooke) Currier of West Palm Beach, FL.A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 on Friday, August 14, 2015, at the Sheridan VA Chapel with Chaplain Derek Schultz officiating.Memorials to honor Lewis may be made to Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter at 84 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY 82801.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
