It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lynden G. Mills Jr., age 34, of Sheridan, Wyoming, on October 30, 2025. Lynden was born on June 3, 1991, and during his short but full life, he touched countless hearts with his warmth, humor, and generosity.
Lynden found his calling as a Realtor with Century 21 BHJ, where his exceptional sales skills, integrity, and genuine care for others earned him the respect and admiration of his coworkers, clients, and community. Before beginning his real estate career, Lynden worked in construction and quickly became known for his strong work ethic and natural talent for connecting with people.
Beyond his career, Lynden lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for snowmobiling, the outdoors, and hot rods, and he was always the first to lend a hand to anyone in need. Those who knew Lynden will forever remember his heart of gold, his contagious smile, and the way he made everyone feel like family. He lovingly referred to his nephews as “his boys,” and his beloved corgi, Cookie, was never far from his side.
Lynden is survived by his husband, Bradley Bauder; his mother, Mindy Cooley; his father, Lynden Mills Sr. (Liz); and his brothers, Russel (Dawn)Cooley, Joshua Cooley, Tim Rhyan, and David (Sara) Cooley. He is also survived by his uncles Keith (Delynn) Cooley, Jimmy Cooley, and Danny(Cathy) Cooley; cousins Dylin (Sirena) Cooley, Colton Cooley, Dalton(Cameryn) Cooley, Cierra (Liam) Collins, Luke Cooley, and Dee Cooley; nephews Russel Wayne, Michael Dean, Marshall, Brantley, Ryder, Ren, Rhett, and Rally; nieces Amelia, Sandra Grace, Elizabeth Grace, and Ruby Rose; and numerous extended cousins. He will be deeply missed by his many friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A public service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.at The Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints in Sheridan, Wyoming with a Celebration of Life reception at Century 21BHJ following the service. In Honor of Lynden, the family encourages all who attend to wear lime green, his favorite color.
Lynden’s light will continue to shine through the memories, laughter, and love he shared with all who knew him.
