About:

Margaret Ann Aksamit was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Margaret passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a short illness on December 20, 2023, at the age of 76.

Margaret was born to Kenneth and Mary Jaap in Trinidad, Colorado on April 18, 1947. In 1967 she met Gene Aksamit and 2 years later they were married in Denver, CO. She will be remembered for her kind heart, snappy wit, stubborn disposition, and never-ending home-cooked meals for everyone who walked into her home.
