Mark William Blackley, 60, of Story, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at his home. He was born on January 6, 1957, to Paul and Marelyn (Pettapiece) Blackley in Great Falls, MT.Mark married Susan (Sue) Marshall on December 28, 1984. He worked as a Electronic Engineer where he designed electronics and fabricated telescope & imaging devices for the University of Texas, McDonald Observatory and Hobby Eberly Telescope in Fort Davis, TX, for 25 years. He also enjoyed flying RC Airplanes, hunting and fishing.Mark was preceded in death by his father Paul Blackley, his brother Daniel Blackley, his father and mother in law Robert and Helen Marshall. He is survived by his wife Sue Blackley of Story, WY, his daughter Amy (Pete) Galvan of Fort Stockton, TX, his mother Marelyn Blackley of Eugene, OR and his sister Zella (Steve) Short of Black Hawk, SD.A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Grace Chapel Church in Story, WY with Pastor William Dill officiating. A Reception will follow at the church.Memorials to honor Mark can be made to Jethro Bound Pets, P.O. Box 6013, Alpine, TX 79832.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
