Click for Video Tribute Theodore (Ted) Dick Rozema was born September 25, 1919, in Wheatland, Wyoming, to Dick & Bertha Rozema. Ted passed away on December 19, 2020, in Sheridan, Wyoming. He was the youngest of seven children in his family. They lived on a homestead west of Slater, Wyoming. His parents both passed away when he was a young boy and then he lived with his sister, Frances Hooper. Ted professed at the age of 16 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in a Gospel meeting. He started in the Work in 1940 in Nebraska. In 1945 he went to Missouri for 4 years and then to Michigan for 1 year. Ted went to Brazil in 1950 and labored there for 30 years. In 1980 Lynn Walker and Ted were the first workers to go to Venezuela and he stayed there until January of 2012. Ted went to live at Redbud Canyon in Oklahoma in June of 2012. In May of 2017 he moved into the Sheridan Manor in Sheridan, Wyoming. Ted was able to get out to meetings until March when no residents in the facility were allowed to leave because of Covid. Ted was the last of his siblings to die. Those remaining of his natural family are one sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Those remaining of his Spiritual family, both in South America and the United States, cannot be numbered.Funeral Services for Ted will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM here at Kane Funeral Home.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
