Tina R. Sharkey, 59, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015, at the Westview Health Care Center Saddle Ridge after a short illness.Tina was born on June 21, 1956 to Brian and Betty (Burgess) Shafer in Sheridan, WY. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1975, and spent 2 years at the University of Wyoming. She worked as a CNA in Sheridan, Laramie and Portland. She managed the cafeteria at the Casper Medical Center until retiring.Tina enjoyed Facebooking, looking for recipes, contacting friends and especially loved her family and grandchildren.Tina was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Irene Burgess, niece, Candyce Palmer and brother in law, Dennis Phillips. She is survived by her parents; Brian and Betty, her children; Brian Sharkey and Amanda Sharkey both of Casper, WY, siblings; Scott (Jennifer) Shafer of Sheridan, WY, Donna Shafer Phillips of Kalispel, MT, grandchildren Keegan, Gawain, Ariyanna, Madison, Colton, and numerous great nieces and nephews.A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
