About:

Walker Burton passed on to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on November 13,2022 at Westview Healthcare. He was 69 years old. Viola Darby Burton of Adelanto California, was his mother. He was a grandpa, dad, and husband.

Walker enlisted into the Army shortly after going to Cadet training to be a Police Officer in Hermosa Beach Area in California. Some of his greatest memories  were when he had been stationed in Germany. He had been given an Honorable Discharge.  After the service he went to work for Mountain Bell in California.

His interests included being in the Reenactment every Year at Real Bird and also Harden. He even spent some time dressed in the right attire at Fort Fetterman and giving talks at the Sheridan Museum. He loved speaking at Custer's Battlefield  and letting tourists know the history and what happened back in the 1800's.

Another interest was Volkswagens. He started a Volkswagen Club that lasted a short time. He was always modifying and building or replacing parts in the Volkswagen then would sell one and find another one to rebuild. Never a dull moment.

He loved spending time with the family. His surviving family is his wife Liana Burton, Samuel Burton, Brynn Burton and Kinley Burton of Sheridan Wyoming. His brother  Kelly Burton of Apple Valley California and a sister Wendii Burton of Riverside, California.

There will be a memorial service at the First Assembly of God, 1045 Lewis Street Sheridan Wyoming on December 10,2022 at 1.00. His remains will be going to the National Cemetery for the Armed Forces in the Spring in Laurel Montana.
